Concerts at First

Welcome to the 14th season of concerts and special choral worship services at First United Methodist Church.  Concerts at First began in September of 2000 as an expression of the talents, the resources and the passions of the people of Eugene FUMC.  We offer regular concerts in our beautiful sanctuary in downtown Eugene featuring the finest repertoire of sacred and classical music by local and international artists.  These programs connect us with the larger community, bringing musicians from near and far, giving us another opportunity to open our doors to all.

In addition to our regular concerts we are adding two Choral Evensongs - services of music, scripture and prayer, characterized by a particular contemplative nature and beauty - one featuring our choirs and one featuring Vox Resonat, directed by Eric Mentzel.  Short recitals will follow each of these Evensongs.

This year we are inaugurating a Friends of Concerts at First support group, click here for more information.
